There’s been little discussion in the Swedish startup community regarding term sheets, probably due to the scarcity of seed financing which pretty much makes it a take it or leave it situation. That is something that Lars Buch and his Startupbootcamp is trying to change with the Term Sheet Battle Nordic Tour.

At Sing Sing in the KTH campus, on the 31st May, prominent Nordic VCs will participate in the term sheet battle and educate us all in what terms they offer and counter-offer. Entrepreneurs and students pay a small fee to attend, and since this might be in the future for you, it might be among the best money you can invest!

Next week we present a great opportunity for Swedish startups and investors!

Startupbootcamp and VentureScout are coming to town Wednesday 23rd and hold an afternoon pitching session and mingle at the KTH Reactor.

The focus are on startups within the Health/Medical field that will be recommended for Startupbootcamp in Dublin (HealthXL) and ICT/Web for the Amsterdam Startupbootcamp, both starting shortly. Also Early-stage startups (cool team working on an idea) within the mobile field, both B2B and B2C as well as both software, hardware, apps and SaaS for the Copenhagen “Mobility” focused program starting summer 2013.

For investors it’s a great opportunity to get a first look at high quality early stage startups within these fields.

The program starts at 2 pm with Startupbootcamp and VentureScout making short pitches about their mission and activites, followed by the 6-10 selected startups pitching to the crowd, invited investors and fellow entrepreneurs. This is an opportunity for startups to get valuable feedback and for investors to spot the next bright star.

We wrap up the day with some casual networing to get to know each other, make connections and perhaps have a beer or two.

The event is free of charge.

If you are an investor, please register here.

If you are a startup, please fill in the application. The deadline is Saturday 19th of January.

Is your startup the one we’re looking for?

We are looking for startups that have reached – or are close - to the alpha/beta stage Cool if you have users and possibly also revenue.

We are focusing on three main sectors:

1) B2C startups within social networking, publishing-related fields and social shopping/e-commerce. For these startups we have a large interested corporate investor so you should be interested in taking investments and you should have proof of concept, validated business model and traction.

2) Startups within the Health/Medical field to be recommended for Startupbootcamp in Dublin (HealthXL) and ICT/Web for the Amsterdam Startupbootcamp, both starting shortly.

3) Early-stage startups (cool team working on an idea) within the mobile field, both B2B and B2C as well as both software, hardware, apps and SaaS for the Copenhagen “Mobility” focused program starting summer 2013.

What is Startupbootcamp?

Their strongest assets are +500 great mentors, their list of almost 3000 friendly investors, 60 great Alumni teams and powerful sponsors in all five cities.

In Stockholm we bring friendly investors to the venue who are eager to meet startups for potential cooperation, but are also scouting for large corporate investors.
